Is Enlisted free?
Yes, the game is free to download and play. It also sells optional content such as Gold (a premium currency), premium squads and battle passes.
Which platforms is it on?
According to the official site: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. On PC it is available through Gaijin's launcher and Steam.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You play with a Gaijin account, which you can create for free on the official site or when you first launch the game.
What is a squad?
A group of soldiers — roughly three to nine depending on the squad type — of which you control one directly while the others follow AI orders. You can switch to another member of the squad when your current soldier falls.
Can I play without other people in my team?
Enlisted is an online multiplayer game, so you play against other people. Your own squad-mates are AI-controlled, so you can join matches alone, but you are still part of a larger team of players.
What happened to the campaigns?
Older guides describe separate campaigns (such as Moscow or Normandy) with their own progression. According to Wikipedia, a December 2023 update merged them into a single progression organised by nation.
Is Enlisted pay-to-win?
Opinions differ. Some reviewers have called its monetisation pay-to-win; others think paid items mostly save time. We have not measured it ourselves. Try the game for free before deciding whether to spend anything.
How much does it cost to buy Gold or a battle pass?
Prices vary by region and change over time, so we do not publish them. Check the official store or your platform's store.
