Editorial policy

This policy explains who writes for vanderis.online, how we check facts, how the site makes money, and how we correct mistakes.

Who writes

Articles are written and edited by Liam Adams, editor and person responsible for the content of the site, on behalf of the publisher, Bartender system s.r.o.. Every article carries a named byline and a publication date, and shows the date it was last reviewed.

How facts are established and sourced

• We rely first on primary sources: the game publisher's and developer's official websites, store pages and patch notes.
• We use reputable secondary sources (for example encyclopaedias and established games media) for history and context, and name them.
• Each article ends with a list of sources and the date they were accessed.
• If we cannot verify a claim, we either leave it out or say clearly that it is unverified. We never invent statistics, specifications, player numbers or prices.
• We do not publish prices or system requirements that change frequently; we point to the official source instead.
• When our information differs from the official information of the game's publisher, the publisher's information prevails, and we say so on the page.

How the site is funded

vanderis.online is funded by affiliate commissions. Some links on the site are partner links: if you click one and then register or buy something, the partner may pay Bartender system s.r.o. a commission. You pay the same price either way. We may also buy search advertising (for example on Microsoft Advertising) to bring readers to our articles.

Partner links are always:

• labelled “Partner link” on the button itself;
• followed by a short note saying we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you;
• preceded by a disclosure bar at the top of the page and a disclosure box directly under the headline;
• marked rel="sponsored nofollow" for search engines.

What we refuse to do

• Fake testimonials. We do not publish invented “reader stories”, reviews or quotes.
• Invented ratings. We do not display star ratings, scores or awards that we have not genuinely measured.
• Artificial urgency. No countdown timers, “only today” offers or fake scarcity.
• Guaranteed-result claims. We do not promise outcomes such as winning, earning or unlocking anything by a certain time.
• Hidden advertising. We never present paid or commission-generating content without labelling it.

Independence from advertisers

Advertisers and affiliate partners do not review, approve or edit our articles before publication, and they cannot buy a positive verdict. We describe weaknesses as well as strengths, including criticisms of the products we link to. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the game publishers we write about unless we clearly state otherwise.

Corrections procedure

1. Email info@vanderis.online with the page address, the statement you believe is wrong and, if possible, a source.
2. The editor reviews the report against the sources.
3. If we got something wrong, we correct the page and add a dated correction note explaining what changed. We do not silently rewrite substantive errors.
4. We reply to let you know the outcome.
